    Open & Local is an emerging, cross-sector collaborative of passionate professionals and community members who work directly with local food and land conservation. The people involved include farmers, ranchers, chefs, educators, non-profits, food banks, farm-to-institution programs, dietitians, grocers, and entrepreneurs….

    Open & Local strengthens the community food systems of southwest Montana by facilitating collaboration to cultivate a vibrant local food economy, enhance food security and access to healthful community food, promote conservation of agricultural lands for future generations, and improve farmers’ access to affordable agricultural land.
